Applications and Referrals

The Supported Accommodation service works in partnership with Housing Associations, United Welsh and Linc Cymru, with funding from Cardiff City Council Supporting People Grant, to support 26 people in shared houses and flats.

Who can apply

The service is open to individuals that have experienced mental health issues, are over the age of eighteen, and regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity or disability, and that are in need of support to resolve issues and enable them to manage and enjoy their own accommodation whilst living in a supported environment.

How to apply

Applications and referrals can be made by individuals or agencies on behalf of individuals as long as the individual completes and signs the application form. To download our application form click on the link below:

Once we have received your application you will be contacted by a member of our staff to arrange an initial assessment interview.

Appeals and complaints

A referral may be rejected should the applicant fail to meet the eligibilty criteria and particularly if the risk presented by any of the individuals concerned cannot be managed within the project.

Appeals against a decision should be made in writing to the Support Services Manager who should acknowledge receipt of the appeal within five working days and co-ordinate the appeals process.

We work extremely hard to provide the best possible service but occasionally we get things wrong. To make a complaint view the compliments and complaint page of our website.
